MACHAKOS Bus Park is closed for renovations. It is undergoing renovation for the first time since it was constructed by under the defunct Municipal Council of Machakos in the 90s.
The park is a nerve centre of human transportation in the region and an engine of revenue for the County Government of Machakos and handles hundreds of Matatus daily.
The clossure was announced by Machakos Roads Minister Mr Nathaniel Nganga as he launched the works on the utility that covers roughly two acres of land at the heart of Machakos. It will take Kes 12 million to recarpet the park.
