Governor Wavinya Ndeti has reshuffled her government but left the crucial post of Minister for Health vacant.

Former Health Minister Daniel Yumbya quit the post in August, forcing Wavinya to appoint Chief Officer Justus Kasivu to act as minister.

A complete analysis of the appointments is underway, with early indications suggesting that at least two chief officers have been dropped – ZiporrahMutunga and Cooperatives Chief Officer Mr. Antony Mutunga- he of the alleged UK money saga.

The reshuffle affects both ministers and chief officers. The changes were communicated this evening in a dispatch dated October 23, 2024, signed by Machakos County Secretary and Head of Public Service, Dr. Ndambuki Muya.
